COCO Donuts is about small batches of handmade 24 hours raised brioche donuts for an ultimate experience of the artisanal donut. We wanted to take donuts to another level and revisit the classic donut dough mostly known through big American donuts chain by using the classic brioche recipe as the base of our recipe.
At COCO Donuts, we care about the ingredients and believe in a sustainable and integrated cuisine. We select local and/or organic ingredients to respect the environment and support the local economy. Everything is house made with love.
Everything started in 2015 while in Australia. Chloé was studying her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communication at UTS, she was loving the life down under for almost 4 years. While Candice was traveling and working to learn more about permaculture and organic agriculture.
When we got back to Belgium, we wanted to start a business that will revolutionize the food scene in Brussels. Gourmets donuts started being a thing in the U.S; especially in big cities where people would want to make donuts in another way, less industrialized but handcrafted with good ingredients.
Because we did grow and got the opportunity to get a second space much bigger to produce everything in house directly. We now have two shops open EVERY DAY: one in Sablon (36 rue Sainte-anne, 1000 Brussels) and one in Janson (168 chaussée de Charleroi, 1060 Brussels)
